Clara Wieth was born under the given name Clara Rasmussen on April 23, 1883 in Kopenhagen. She was a Danish Actress, known for Blade af Satans Bog (1919), Häxan (1921), Prästen (1914), Clara Wieth's first movie on record is from 1902. She was married to Carlo Wieth and Povl Pontoppidan. Clara Wieth died on January 22, 1975 in Kopenhagen. Her last motion picture on file dates from 1972.
Biographical Notes in German: eigentlich Clara Rasmussen, Schauspielerin des dänischen und schwedischen Films, 1906 mit dem Schauspieler Carlo Wieth verheiratet, 1920 mit Povl Pontoppidan. In den Jahren 1906-1920 nannte sie sich Clara Wieth, danach Clara Pontoppidan.

Balletausbildung am Königlichen Theater Kopenhagen, erste kleinere Rollen am Alexandrateatret, von 1905-1925 am Dagmarteatret. Nach 1925 am Königlichen Theater. Zahlreiche Filmrollen u.a. auch in Schweden.
