She was an American Actress, known for The Wedding March (1928), Adam had four sons (1941), Gideons's trumpet (1979), Fay Wray's first movie on record is from 1923. Biographical Notes in German: Schauspielerin im amerikanischen Film, erste Filme in Hollywood 1923. In Erich von Stroheims Hochzeitsmarsch (1928) fand sie erstmals internationale Beachtung, sie spielte bei Josef von Sternberg, aber ihre berühmteste Szene hatte sie in King Kong (1932). In der Folge vor allem in Horror Filmen, ein Comeback in den Fünfziger Jahren scheiterte. Der TV-Film Gideon's Trumpet (1980) als Partnerin von Henry Fonda war ihr letztes Auftreten in einem Film.
