Ada Vojtsik was born on August 1, 1905 in Moskva. She was a Russian Actress, known for Ivan Groznij II (1946), Korabli sturmujut bastiony (1953), Devjat dnej odnogo goda (1962), Ada Vojtsik's first movie on record is from 1925. Ada Vojtsik died on September 2, 1998 in Moska. Her last motion picture on file dates from 1971.
Biographical Notes in German: Schauspielerin des sowjetischen Films, verdiente Künstlerin der RSFSR, geboren 1905 in Moskau, debütierte 1925 in Film und studierte anschliessend am Moskauer Filminstitut VGIK, Heirat mit dem Regisseur Ivan Pyrjev, ihr gemeinsamer Sohn Erik Pyrjev (1931-1970) wird auch Regisseur. 1943 Evakuierung nach Alma-Ata.
Ada Vojtsiks Karriere beginnt mit der ersten Verfilmung von "Der 41." aus dem Jahre 1927 durch Jakov Protozanov, der sie statt (der schwangeren) Vera Maretskaja für die Rolle der Marjutka besetzt. Vorher hatte sie bereits u.a. in Valerij Inkizhinov's "Rasplata" die weibliche Hauptrolle gespielt. In Pyrjevs Film "Das Fliessband des Todes" (1933) war sie die Luisa. Andere bedeutende Filme waren "Dom na Trubnoj" (1928), "Mechta" (1941) und "Devjat dnej odnogo goda" (1961). In Eisensteins "Ivan Groznij spielte sie den Part der Jelena Glinskaja.
Ada Vojtsik überlebte sowohl ihren Mann wie auch ihren Sohn und starb 1982 in Moskau im Alter von 77 Jahren. (lhg 2012)
