He was a French Herec, known for Napoléon (1927), Madame Sans-Gêne (1941), L' Assassinat du Duc de Guise (1908), Albert Dieudonné's first movie on record is from 0. Zivotopisné poznámky (v němčině): Französischer Schauspieler, Autor und Regisseur, durch seinen Onkel Alphones Dieudonné zum Theater. Erste Filmrolle 1908 in "L'Assassinat du Duc de Guise", in den Zehner Jahren spielte er in einigen Filmen von Albert Capellani und Abel Gance. Seine bekannteste Rolle hatte Dieudonné in Gances Monumentalfilm "Napoleon", wo er die Titelrolle verkörperte.
Dieudonné hatte auch eine kurze Karriere als Regisseur und drehte zusammen mit Jean Renoir dessen Erstlingsfilm "Une vie sans joie". Nach 1930 spielte er noch in zwei Filmen, jeweils als Napoleon. [lhg 2012]
