She was a German Author, known for Emilia Galotti (Titel not confirmed) (1922), S.O.S. - Die Insel der Tränen (1923), Dirnentragödie (1927), Ruth Goetz's first movie on record is from 1916. She was married to Otto Bienhoff and Bernhard von Schüching. Ruth Goetz died on June 19, 1965 in London-Hendon. Her last motion picture on file dates from 1927.
Biographical Notes in German: Autorin des deutschen Stummfilms, aktiv von 1916 bis Ende der Zwanziger Jahre (Laut Wikipedia) 1880 in Festenberg, Schlesien geboren (und nicht 1886 in Oberglogau, wie meist angegeben), erst als Journalistin und Redakteurin tätig, dann als Autorin für die Decla und Eiko-Film tätig. Für Joe May arbeitete sie als Co-Autorin in seinen Monumentalfilmen Veritas Vincit und Die Herrin der Welt. In den zwanziger Jahren schrieb sie Drehbücher u.a. für Erik Lund, Carl Wilhelm, Lothar Mendes und Fritz Kaufmann. Nach 1933 Emigration mit ihrem Mann, dem Schriftsteller Bernhard von Schüching. Ruth Goetz - von Schueching starb 1965 in London.
