Leopoldine Konstantin was born on March 21, 1886 in Brno. She was an Austrian Actress, known for Notorious (1946), Schuldig (1913), Der Schuss im Traum (1915), Leopoldine Konstantin's first movie on record is from 1912. Leopoldine Konstantin died on December 14, 1965 in Wien. Her last motion picture on file dates from 1946.
Biographical Notes in German: Österreichische Schauspielerin des deutschen Theaters und Films, Schauspielausbildung bei Max Reinhardt in Berlin, 1916 nach Wien ans Stadttheater und das Theater in der Josefstadt. 1938 Emigration aus Österreich in die USA bis 1948, danach nur noch vereinzelte Auftritte.

Filmdebüt 1911 mit "Abenteuer in Venedig", erfolgreich als "Grande Dame" in deutschen Produktionen bis anfangs der Zwanziger Jahre. Im Tonfilm eher kleinere Rollen, ihren letzten Film spielte Madame Konstantin bei Alfred Hitchcock in "Notorious" als die eiskalte Mutter eines nationalsozialistischen Verschwörers.
