Biographical Notes in German: 1948 erstes festes Engagement an den Wuppertaler Bühnen, danach Gastspiele
u.a. am Münchner Residenztheater, Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen, Theater in
Baden-Baden. In über 100 Spielfilmen und zahlreiche TV-Filme. 1962
Bundesfilmpreis für "Die endlose Nacht", auch als Regisseur tätig. Leipnitz
starb in München an einem Krebsleiden.
