Anatolij Lunacharskij was born on November 23, 1875 in Poltava. He was a Russian Author, known for Smelchak (1919), Salamandra (1928), Zheleznaja pjata (1919), Anatolij Lunacharskij's first movie on record is from 1918. Anatolij Lunacharskij died on December 26, 1933 in Menton, Frankreich. His last motion picture on file dates from 1928.
Biographical Notes in German: Bedeutender Kulturpolitiker der Sowjetunion, 1917 von Lenin als Volkskommissar für das Bildungswesen für das Bildungswesen berufen, verdankte die kreative Vielfalt des sowjetischen Stummfilms viel seinem Einfluss.
Als Sohn eines höheren Beamten in Poltawa geboren, studierte Lunacharskij nach dem Besuch des Gymnasiums in Kiev von 1892 bis 1894 an der Universität Zürich Philosophie und Naturwissenschaften. Zurück in Russland wegen revolutionärer Propaganda verhaftet, wechselten Haft in Russland und Exil sich ab: 1904/05 erneut in der Schweiz als Redakteur revolutionärer Zeitschriften in Genf, dann Stcokholm, 1910/11 in Italien, wo er eine Schule nach Montessori-Ideen organisiert, Journalist in Paris.
Enger Vertrauter Lenins, dessen konservativen Ideen über Kunst Lunacharskij den widersprüchlichen Geist der Avantgarde und der Revolution entgegensetzt.
Lunacharskij starb bei einer Auslandsreise im französischen Menton, seine Urne ist in der Kremlmauer beigesetzt. [lhg 2012]
