Olga Belajeff was born on March 16, 1900 in Russia. She was a German Actress, known for Mutter, dein Kind ruft! (1923), Es leuchtet meine Liebe (1922), Das Wachsfigurenkabinett (1924), Olga Belajeff's first movie on record is from 1917. Olga Belajeff died after 1929. The date of her death is not on record. Her last motion picture on file dates from 1929.
Biographical Notes in German: Schauspielerin russischer Herkunft im russischen, dänischem und deutschen Stummfilm, ihre Biographie ist kaum bekann. Die ersten Filme werden kurz vor der Revolution bei Aleksandr Drankov unter der Regie von Fjodor Komissarzhevskij. Anschliessend war sie in Filmen des Produzenten Iosif N. Ermoljev zu sehen, unter anderem auch in einer in Yalta gedrehten Produktion. Sie dürfte dann Mitte 1920 über Tiflis, wo sie einen weiteren Film drehte, nach Italien emigriert sein, hier drehte sie zwei Filme unter der Regie von Aleksandr Uralskij. Alle ihre russischen Filme scheinen verloren zu sein.
In ihrer bekanntesten Rolle war die Schauspielerin, die sich in Deutschland Olga von Belajeff nannte, im Film "Das Wachsfigurenkabinett" 1924 zu sehen. Ihre letzte Rolle spielte sie in Charles Burguets Tonfilm "Die Schleiertänzerin" 1929, einer deutsch-französischen Produktion, danach verliert sich ihre Spur. (lhg 2012)
