Max Nosseck was born on September 19, 1902 in Nakel, Polen. He was a German Director, Actor, known for Das Liebesleben des schönen Franz (1956), Der Tanz ins Glück (1930), Petersburger Nächte (1958), Max Nosseck's first movie on record is from 1921. Max Nosseck died on September 29, 1972 in Bad Wiessee. His last motion picture on file dates from 1972.
Biographical Notes in German: eigentlich Alexander M. Norris, Regisseur und Schauspieler des deutschen und amerikanischen Films. Studium in Berlin und Wien, vier Jahre lang Theaterschauspieler in Polen und Deutschland. 1919 in Berlin zum Film als Schauspieler, Regieassistent, Schnittmeister und schliesslich Regisseur.
Arbeitete bei der UFA, der Biograph etc. 1933 Emigration, zuerst nach Portugal und Spanien, dann 1935 nach Frankreich, wo er einen Film mit Buster Keaton inszenierte. 1939 in die USA. In Deutschland inszenierte er nach dem Krieg 1955 den Film "Der Hauptmann und sein Held". Verheiratet mit Olly Gebauer.
