He was an American Actor, Director, Author, known for Ben Hur (1907), The Charmer (1925), Not so long ago (1925), Sidney Olcott's first movie on record is from 1907. He was married to Valentine Grant. Sidney Olcott died on December 16, 1949 in Hollywood, California, USA. His last motion picture on file dates from 2011.
Eine erste Theaterrolle in "When the Harvest Days Are Over" erhielt Olcott durch John "Pop" Ince, den Vater des künftigen Produzenten Thomas H. Ince.
(lhg Pordenone 2011)
