Cläry Lotto was born on September 23, 1893 in Casekow. She was an Austrian Actress, known for Die Todeskarawane (1921), Unter Räubern und Bestien (1921), Die weisse Wüste (1922), Cläry Lotto's first movie on record is from 1916. Cläry Lotto died on August 26, 1952 in Berlin. Her last motion picture on file dates from 1933.

Biographical Notes
In den Zwanziger Jahren war sie eine recht beliebte Schauspielerin und Darstellerin in Abenteurerfilmen, darunter auch in den ersten Karl-May Verfilmungen. Ausbildung als Tänzerin an der Wiener Hofoper, Engagements in Wien, Budapest, Moskau und Berlin. Erste Filmrollen bei Michael Curtiz in Ungarn, um 1920 in Berlin Bekanntschaft und Heirat mit Carl de Vogt, als dessen Partnerin sie in rund 20 Filmen mispielte.

Cläry Lottos Karriere ging Mitte der Zwanziger Jahre zu Ende, sie trat nur noch in wenigen Tonfilmen auf und zog sich 1933 ganz vom Film zurück. 1952 starb sie in Berlin.
