Im Jahre 1820 kehrt Don Diego Vega aus Madrid in seine Heimat Kalifornien zurĂŒck. Hier hat Don Luis Quintero seinem Vater das BĂŒrgermeisteramt entrissen und terrorisiert das Volk.
