«Jim McLain, Untersuchungsbeamter des House of Representatives Committee on Un-American Activities (HUAC), und sein Kollege Mal Baxter sind in Hawaii auf der Fährte eines kommunistischen Spionagerings. Baxter wird von den Kommunisten ermordet. Big Jim verliebt sich in die Krankenschwester Nancy. Die Mission geht ins Leere, weil der Kommunistenführer Sturak von seinem verfassungsmäßigen Recht der Zeugnisverweigerung Gebrauch macht. - Der erste Film von Waynes eigener Produktionsfirma Wayne-Fellows, eine schamlose Selbstverherrlichung in einem ultrareaktionären Hetzfilm auf dem Höhepunkt des McCarthyismus.
