Synopsis in German
Eine junge Probiermamsell hat nur einen Traum: endlich in Besitz des wundervollen Hermelinpelzes zu gelangen, den sie täglich im Schaufenster des Pelzhauses Herpich bewundert. Ihre Träume gehen so weit, dass sie sich eines Tages vorstellt, der feine Herr, der das gute Stück heute auf der Modenschau kaufte, erscheine ihr als Teufel, entführe sie in die Hölle und stelle sie vor die Wahl: wenn sie ihm drei Bedingungen erfüllt, bekommt sie den Mantel. Kurzentschlossen erfüllt die kesse Frau die Bedingungen des Beelzebubs, doch umso grösser ist ihr Zorn, als sie den Mantel dennoch nicht bekommt: der Teufel hat sie reingelegt!

In diesem Moment wird sie durch lautes Klopfen aus dem unruhigen Schlaf gerissen. Die Mamsell öffnet die Tür - und vor ihr steht der Besitzer des Pelzes, der ihr eben noch als Teufel das Leben zur Hölle gemacht hatte. Damit gehen die Turbulenzen erst so richtig los, denn durch eine Verwechslung darf die kleine Probiermamsell eine Woche lang eine verwöhnte Millionärin spielen, der sämtliche Wünsche erfüllt werden - ausser einem: den Hermelinpelz zu besitzen. Aber den vergisst sie in all dem Trubel sowieso bald. Ihr wird vielmehr klar, dass sie mit ihrem Bräutigam Fritz auch ohne Reichtümer glücklich ist. Und auch ohne Hermelinmantel. (www.filmportal.de)
