Synopsis in German
Marianne ist alleinerziehende Mutter und arbeitslos. Ihre drei Kinder sind von verschiedenen Vätern - und keiner zahlt. Weihnachten hat die Familie gerade noch überstanden, aber zum Jahreswechsel wird das Drängen von Gläubigern und vor allem die Fürsorge zu einem unlösbaren Problem. Dass der Vater eines Kindes Schwarzafrikaner war, bringt die geplagte Mutter schließlich auf eine rettende Idee: Ihre Kinder wären doch die perfekten Sternsinger! Mit dem Abkassieren von Tür zu Tür wird es aber nichts, vielmehr geraten die vier Sänger in ungeahnte Turbulenzen und Schwierigkeiten - aber dann kommt es doch noch zum Happy End. (3Sat Presse)
