Synopsis in German
Eng zusammengequetscht im Auto des künftigen Schwiegersohnes startet die Familie Hesselbach zum fröhlichen Urlaub an den Bodensee. Hans, der Schwiegersohn in spe, sitzt am Steuer, neben ihm thront Vater Hesselbach, und im Fond - eingezwängt zwischen vielerlei Gepäck - sitzen die Frauen: Mama Hesselbach, Töchterlein Anneliese und Nichte Waltraud. Auf dem überladenen Anhänger hat es sich Willi Hesselbach junior leidlich bequem gemacht.

Die Mutter erhofft traute und nicht zu kostspielige Familienidylle, der Vater genussreiche Naturerlebnisse, das Brautpaar ungestörte Schäferstündchen, der Sohn scharfes Sporttraining, und die Nichte - einen Mann. Lassen die Tücken des Reiseteufels und die Schwächen der menschlichen Natur diese Hoffnungen in Erfüllung gehen? Natürlich kommt alles ganz anders, als es sich die Hesselbachs vorgestellt haben.
