Synopsis in German
Sportsmann Jonny ist verschuldet und hat fast alles verloren. Nur sein Rennpferd "Europa" entzieht er dem Zugriff der Gläubiger, versteckt es in einem kleinen Stall und trainiert es heimlich mithilfe seines treuen Jockeys Monk und des klugen Hundes Greif. Sein Ziel ist es, am Großen Preis von Nizza teilzunehmen. Eine Bande von Rennschiebern will das allerdings verhindern. Die Gangster haben Einsätze auf "Europa" eingestrichen und wollen das Pferd noch vor Beginn des Rennens ausschalten. "Europa" wird mehrmals gestohlen und zurückgestohlen, und am Ende gelingt es Jonny mithilfe seiner Freunde und eines tollen Bluffs, nicht nur das Rennen, sondern auch das Herz der jungen Amerikanerin Ursel zu gewinnen.
