Synopsis in German
Seit ihrer Kindheit sind Katharina und Elena die besten Freundinnen. Nach einem Ausbildungsjahr in Kanada ist Elena nun in ihren Heimatort nach Bayern zurückgekehrt - und hat zur grossen Überraschung ihrer Eltern ihren kanadischen Verlobten Tom mitgebracht, dem sie nach der Hochzeit nach Kanada folgen will. Elenas traditionsbewusster Vater ist von den Zukunftsplänen seiner Tochter jedoch alles andere als begeistert. Ihm wäre es viel lieber, wenn sie den bodenständigen Markus heiraten würde. Der ist jedoch mit Katharina zusammen. Dann aber geschieht das Unvorhergesehene: Zwischen Katharina und Tom entspinnt sich eine zarte Liebe.

Als Elena die heimliche Beziehung entdeckt, wird die Freundschaft der beiden Frauen auf eine harte Probe gestellt. (SWR Presse)
