Synopsis in German
Was passiert, wenn plötzlich alle Menschen einschlafen, nur man selbst ist der einzige, der wach bleibt? Diese Erfahrung macht der zehnjährige Nicki völlig unfreiwillig, denn durch einen Zufall kommt die letzte Komposition des großen Komponisten Ludwig van Beethoven in seine Schultasche und löste eine große Schlafkrankheit aus. Es beginnt ein turbulentes winterliches Abenteuer, in dem Nicki den beiden Gangstern Max und Kwapisch die Noten abjagt. Nicki spielt die Noten rückwärts und rettet so die Schlafkranken.
Der Junge entwickelt sich von einem kleinen, ängstlichen, von seinen Mitschülern ausgelachten Kind, zu einem mutigen, selbstbewussten Jungen. (ARD Presse)
