Das Leben des erfolgreichen Finanzmanagers und alleinerziehenden Vaters Peter Hofmann gerät aus den Fugen. Er hat Probleme im Job und seine Kinder hassen ihn.

Mit seinen Kindern taucht er in einem kleinen Dorf in Schweden unter. Dort findet er Freunde, Liebe und endlich wieder Zugang zu seinen Kindern.
