Synopsis in German
Unter den schützenden Flügeln des Filmstars Jenny Smart begibt sich die Waise Silvietta mit dieser in die Ambrosio-Studios in Turin. Dort trifft sie auf den Regisseur Piccolini, der ihr nach einer Probe die Rolle des Aschenputtels anbietet. Nach einem schmerzhaften Abschied von ihrer Tochter, die sie den Nonnen anvertraut, gibt sich Silvietta dem Film hin.
