Remarks and general Information in German: Der Film hiess tatsächlich "Edgar Allen Poe", und zwar falsch 'Allen' statt 'Allan' geschrieben. Es ist eine Art "Bio-Picture" über Edgar Allan Poe, der [unrichtigerweise] am Krankenbett seiner Frau Virginia "The Raven" schreibt, daher auch der zweite Titel.
Mit einer Länge von ursprünglich 633 feet ist dies einer der kürzesten Filme von Griffith, erhalte geblieben ist eine Version in der Länge von 450 feet. [lhg 2012]
