Synopsis in German
m-Ho-Tep, ein altägyptischer Hohepriester, hat ein Sakrileg begangen, als er mit der Pharaonentochter Anck-Es- En-Amon, die als Priesterin der Isis das Gelöbnis der Keuschheit abgelegt hatte, eine Liebesaffäre begann. Sein Sündenregister erhöhte sich noch, als er die Geliebte mit einem Zauberspruch aus dem Buch von Toth zurück ins Leben holen will. Allerdings unterbrachen Häscher die unheilige Zeremonie und Im-Ho-Tep wurde lebendig einbalsamiert - zusammen mit dem Erweckungstalisman. 3.700 Jahre später, im Jahr 1921, findet eine Expedition des Britischen Museums seine Mumie, ein junger Wissenschaftler entziffert den Zauberspruch und holt Im-Ho-Tep so ins Leben zurück.
