Synopsis in German
Einem Spruch zufolge gliedert sich die Menschheit in Wölfe und Schafe. Nicolas Mallet scheint zu den Schafen zu gehören. Als der kleine Bankangestellte eines Tages die hübsche Marie-Paule anspricht und zu einem Kaffee einlädt, entdeckt Nicolas jedoch ungeahnte Qualitäten an sich. Dazu bedarf es allerdings entschiedener Nachhilfe durch seinen Freund, den Schriftsteller Fabre.
Als Nicolas ihm gesteht, mit Marie-Paule nur ein Flittchen erobert zu haben, setzt Fabre den jungen Mann auf die schöne Roberte, die Frau eines konservativen Philosophie-Professors, an. Sie bleibt aber nicht seine einzige Eroberung. Von Fabre gelenkt, steigt Nicolas von einem Bett ins andere - und in der sogenannten besseren Gesellschaft steil aufwärts. Er macht Politik und ist schließlich für jede Form der Korruption zu haben - bald pflastern auch Leichen seinen Weg. (3sAT pRESSE)
