Was nützen das schönste Hotel und der tollste Alpenblick, wenn einem ständig die Gäste vergrault werden? Vor diesem Dilemma steht die junge Thesi, die eine Hotelpension im idyllischen Zillertal geerbt hat. Denn Mayrhofen, der Kramerwirt, Hotelier und Bürgermeister des Örtchens, will auf ihrem Grundstück ein Sanatorium errichten. Da Thesi sich weigert zu verkaufen, will er die junge Frau mürbe machen. Er fängt sämtliche Gäste ab, bevor sie mit der Seilbahn hinauf zu Thesi fahren können. Mit der Ankunft von Thesis Freundin Petra und ein er erfolgreichen Werbekampagne kommt jedoch Schwung in den Hotelbetrieb.
Schnell findet sich eine bunte Gästeschar ein. Doch dann kommt alles ganz anders als gedacht. (hr Presse)
