Synopsis in German
"Lebensbild mit Jack Mullhall und Alice Terry - Der Sohn einer in bescheidenen Verhältnisse lebenden Witwe geht nach der Grosstadt, um etwas zu werden und das Mädchen seiner Wahl heimführen zu können. Von dem Sekretär seines Chefs in den Verdacht eines von diesem begangenen Diebstahls gebracht und zu längerer Kerkerstrafe verurteilt, kehrt er nach seiner Freilassung mit zwei Gefährten in die Heimat zurück. Dort will der Vater seiner Verlobten seine Mutter wegen einer Schuld von ihrer kleinen Farm vertreiben. Der junge Mann regelt mit Hilfe seiner Freunde diese Angelegenheit, wenn auch nicht auf ganz einwandfreie Weise, und kann, nachdem sich seine Unschuld herausgestellt, das geliebte Mädchen heiraten."
