Synopsis in German
Kurz nachdem er aus dem Gefängnis entlassen wurde, kommt Joseph Dermott gleich wieder in Schwierigkeiten. Diesmal wird er des versuchten Mordes an Edith verdächtigt. Die Polizei macht ihn ausfindig und es kommt zu einer rasanten Verfolgungsjagd. Dabei wird Joseph verletzt, ein amerikanischer Physiologe findet ihn. Unter dessen Patienten befindet sich auch Edith, die an Gedächtnisverlust leidet. Im Vorfeld der Operation, die ihr Gedächtnis wiederherstellen soll, spendet Joseph ihr sein Blut. Doch das Tattoo auf seinem Arm offenbart seine wahre Identität und er wird der Polizei übergeben … (www.europafilmtreasures)
