Synopsis in German
Im Turin der Jahre 1910 begibt sich der kleine Tonino ins Büro seines seit drei Monaten kranken Vaters, um dort sein Gehalt abzuholen: es wird die letzte Zahlung bleiben, denn aufgrund der langen Fehlzeit, gibt man ihm seine Kündigung zu verstehen. Tonino verheimlicht seinen Eltern diese schmerzhafte Nachricht. Als er dann einem Filmteam während eines Drehs im Valentino Park über den Weg läuft, bietet man ihm eine Rolle in einer Filmproduktion aus dem Hause Pasquali & C. - welch ein Segen für den talentierten Tonino, der von nun an für den Unterhalt der Familie aufkommen kann. Diese neue Beschäftigung bringt jedoch den kleinen Jungen dazu, die Schule zu schwänzen und das stachelt schon bald die Neugierde seiner Mutter an. (europafilmtreasures.de)
