Ein Musiker verkauft seinen Schatten gegen eine Geige, um das Herz eines Mädchens zu gewinnen. Alle wenden sich von ihm ab, da er im Pakt mit dem Teufel steht, aber schliesslich gelingt es ihm, mit Hilfe des Mädchens, seinen Schatten wieder zu finden.
