Synopsis in German
Als die erfolgreiche Rechtsanwältin Carolyn Polhemus ermordet in ihrer Wohnung aufgefunden wird, fällt der Verdacht auf den angesehenen Ankläger Rusty Sabich. Er hatte ein kurze Verhältnis mit Polhemus und war auch noch in der Mordnacht bei ihr. Seine Versuche scheitern, alle Spuren, die auf diese Liason hinweisen, zu verwischen. Erst mit Hilfe seines Anwalts Sandy Stern kann er sich aus der Umklammerung der Justiz befreien und die wahren Hintergründe aufdecken....
