Synopsis in German
Othello, berühmter Feldherr von Venedig, wird von seinem Fähnrich Jago aus Missgunst in eine tödliche Eifersucht gehetzt. Geschickt versteht es Jago, ihm eine angebliche Beziehung seiner Frau Desdemona zu Cassio, einem Leutnant, einzureden. Getroffen in seinem Glauben an die Treue tötet Othello Desdemona.
